ESIGELEC French School of Engineering / “GRANDE ECOLE D’INGENIEURS”

Introduction
ESIGELEC is a French Engineering College based in Rouen (FRANCE) close to Paris.

ESIGELEC was created in 1901, and is fully recognised by the French Government. We deliver each year to nearly 330 engineering students the French Engineering Degree ("Diplôme d'Ingénieur"/ Master’s Degree) which is signed by the representative of the French Ministry of Education.

We are specialized in Electronics, Electricity, Networks, Computer Science, Automatics, Embedded Systems, Mecatronic, Finance Engineering and Business Engineering. ESIGELEC ranks among the best engineering colleges in France. We have:

an Engineering Program, mostly taught in French (2 to 5 years), and opened to students after A-Level or Bachelor Degree,
2 Masters Programs taught in English (3 semesters), opened to students with a Bachelor degree.
a Course of Adaptation in French language (1 year) for students who want to learn French language before starting the Engineering Program of the school,
a PhD program.

International Relations
We have now 71 collaborations with foreign partners in more than 30 countries. 30% of our 1300 students are international students.
In India, we have MoUs with: VELLORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MANIPAL UNIVERSITY, I2IT PUNE, NIT WARENGAL, and soon with PUNJAB ENGINEERING COLLEGE…

Research
We also have an Institute of Research and Development in Electronics and Embedded Systems which is also recognised by the French Government and which closely works with many major companies in France: VALEO, SNECMA, RENAULT, THALES, .... We welcome each year PhD students in our labs. 80% are foreigners and come from the universities with which we work abroad... They are paid by ESIGELEC...

Relations with French and foreign companies
We also have a network of 3000 companies with which we work in France and abroad. Our industrial partners do some courses in the school, propose industrial projects to our students, offer opportunities for jobs and/or internships, participate to the teaching boards of the school. We also work with some of them in the domains of continuous training, or research and development. Among our strong partners, we have: ORANGE, THALES, VALEO,…
